This extension, developed at the 2012 Google Hackathon in Warsaw, Poland, is a helpful tool for visually impaired users, enabling text-to-speech functionality directly within web pages.

This extension is a valuable tool for individuals with visual impairments.

By simply clicking on text within a webpage, users can have it read aloud through the integrated text-to-speech (TTS) service. The extension allows customization of the TTS service; you can choose your preferred voice by accessing the settings via the extension’s icon.

Originally developed during the 2012 Google Hackathon in Warsaw, Poland, this Chrome extension leverages the text-to-speech services available in each operating system. Should you require additional features or encounter any issues, feel free to report them on my GitHub page. While this is a side project and I may have other commitments, I am committed to providing assistance whenever possible.
